    An arena-packing superstar in her native Brazil, singer-songwriter-producer Marisa Monte has chosen more intimate theaters on her current American tour to showcase two sides of her prodigious talent. Her two Festival performances will be rooted in recent, simultaneous Blue Note releases: Universo ao Meu Redor, featuring both classic and new samba numbers; and Infinito Particular, a collection of her lively, expansive Brazilian pop left heretofore unrecorded.
