At the Heart of SFJAZZ... Our Volunteers
SFJAZZ volunteers are a big-hearted group of people who are central
to our efforts to bring world-class jazz to the San Francisco Bay
Area. It's with deep and sincere appreciation that we thank these
wonderful people who share their time and energy with SFJAZZ.
Annually over 400 volunteers share their time and expertise with
us in a variety of capacities. During the San Francisco Jazz Festival
and SFJAZZ Spring Season, volunteers provide essential assistance
at concerts, in our office and with educational events by signing
up for the following positions:
- Ushers
- Front of House Assistance
- Security
- Special Events
- Office Assistance and more...
Volunteers are honored and rewarded in a number of ways, including
free SFJAZZ merchandise and the annual volunteer party. As an extra
show of appreciation, SFJAZZ rewards volunteers who contribute 15
hours or more of service with the gift of an SFJAZZ Individual level
membership.
